Opportunities
Our goal and passion is to teach and share the fine art of dance, and to help each and every dancer have fun while learning technique in all areas of dance. We have dancers in every skill level and from every age group. We believe that part of learning to dance is learning to love dance and feeling safe to express yourself as a dancer in a friendly, inclusive environment. We currently offer dance classes in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, clogging, tumbling/acro, and hip hop.
Recreational Classes
Recreational classes are weekly classes dancers can attend to get experience and knowledge in various styles tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, ballet, and acro. Recreational dancers get to perform at three shows during our dance year (Halloween, Christmas, and Our Spring Recital). These recreational classes range from Tiny Tot/Beginner - Advanced.
Competition
Some of our company dancers compete year to year at various competitions around the metro area. This provides the opportunity for our dancers to perform and showcase their talent and in addition, get to be students in convention classes held by some of the nations best choreographers/dancers.
Dance Company
Company Dancers train with each other an additional 3-4 hours each week in addition to their regular weekly classes. In company, these dancers perform at community events all over the Denver area along with the three shows held by Destination Dance. Some of these dancers are also on our competition team and take recreational classes.
